As well as funding for culture and sport, there are also schemes to support young people, animal welfare and environmental protection, to combat racism, and to promote democracy and social cohesion. Have a look and apply.

This course is aimed at volunteers and full-time staff from clubs, as well as local authority (LU) or municipal (MA) officials, who already hold positions of responsibility within their own club or wish to take on greater responsibility in the future. Places for the 2026/27 course are fully booked. We are now accepting pre-registrations for 2027/28.
Your commitment with that wow factor
Together with WOW Magazin Ludwigshafen, we’ve given some of you the chance to tell your stories. Andy Heinrich and Murat Bilir visited the Wald- und Wiesenfreunde Maudach e.V., TSV Ludwigshafen and the neighbourhood parents’ group, and saw for themselves what makes your commitment so special. You can find the stories, photos and short videos in WOW Magazine Ludwigshafen and on the Instagram channels of WOW Magazine Ludwigshafen and LUnited.
Find and advertise properties in Ludwigshafen
Many clubs and initiatives are looking for venues for regular meetings or events. At the same time, some venues stand empty or are only used occasionally. We would like to make better use of the potential our vibrant city has to offer and bring together supply and demand.
