Many of you, particularly those involved in the voluntary sector or social welfare, are familiar with the problem: the need is great – ranging from hot meals, office supplies and toys to items that are rarely discussed. These include, for example, incontinence products, hygiene items and cleaning products. These are things that are essential for living with dignity.

This is exactly where innatura comes in with its in-kind donation platform. The range is extensive – and particularly relevant to social work: hygiene products, cleaning products, clothing, bed linen and school supplies are all part of the offering.

Easy access for clubs and organisations

Access has been deliberately kept low-threshold:
your organisation simply needs to register and provide proof of its charitable status. After that, you can select and order the products you need, just as you would in an online shop.

Instead of paying standard prices, you simply pay a small commission – usually between five and twenty per cent of the market value. The result: savings of up to 95 per cent compared to buying from retail outlets.

Money that would otherwise be spent on hygiene products or equipment can thus be used for counselling, support or additional services. At the same time, the environment and society also benefit – because fully functional goods no longer end up in the bin.

Several thousand organisations in Germany are already making use of this service – ranging from small associations to large social service providers.

More scope for what really matters

Every year, brand-new products worth billions are destroyed in Germany – for reasons such as changes to packaging or overproduction. The Cologne-based non-profit organisation innatura collects such goods, stores them and makes them available to charitable organisations via an online shop.

For your initiatives and clubs, this means one thing above all: greater freedom to act.

A boost for Ludwigshafen?

The platform is no substitute for on-the-ground donations – but it can help to fill gaps that are often difficult to address in day-to-day life. That is why we at LUnited want to help raise awareness of this resource.

On 24 June 2026 at 5 pm, innatura is offering all clubs and initiatives in Ludwigshafen a digital glimpse behind the scenes. During an online tour of the warehouse, interested parties can see what materials are available – and ask questions directly about registration, logistics and usage.

The event is aimed at all charitable organisations, initiatives and volunteers in Ludwigshafen who wish to strengthen their work through targeted donations in kind.
