Whether on social media, in comments sections or in messaging groups – hatred and hostility can arise wherever people communicate with one another online. But why does hatred spread so quickly online, and how can we respond to it?
As part of the free online series ‘STARKES NETZwerk’ by BASF and the Business Council for Democracy (BC4D), you’ll learn about the causes and dynamics behind digital hate speech and the impact it has on public debate and our democracy.
You’ll also learn about practical counter-strategies you can use to tackle online hate, both in your personal daily life and within clubs and organisations.
