How can you respond to hateful comments and online abuse without further escalating conflicts? And what options are there for protecting yourselves?
As part of the “Sicher engagiert” project, the Düsseldorf-based association AVP e. V. is offering a series of online workshops for volunteers and elected representatives. The second evening of the module ‘Confronting Online Hate’ focuses on the topics of hate speech, disinformation and threats of violence. The session covers practical facilitation methods, de-escalation techniques and self-protection measures.
The workshop series comprises four modules that build on one another, each taking place over two evenings.
