New programme, new approach: with this funding programme, the Foundation is also breaking new ground in its funding practices! Together with outstanding funding partners, they aim to advance social innovation in our society and gain initial experience with our new funding instruments. Their focus is on ensuring the long-term sustainability of social innovations that have already proven effective. They want to help you think bigger and establish your ideas on a stable, lasting footing.
Eligibility criteria:
- You are a not-for-profit organisation.
- Your social project or not-for-profit business model has proven its worth following a pilot phase and is already making a difference to people’s lives.
- The impact of your concept can be demonstrated – or has already been demonstrated – through an evaluation or an impact report.
- Your aim is to expand the project, deepen its impact and place it on a sustainable footing.
To create lasting impact, it is particularly important that your project is on a stable footing with a sustainable funding model. The aim is for your initiative to have a long-term impact.
Greater impact through greater flexibility
This programme is designed as a flexible funding instrument. You should draw up a detailed plan for the first 12 months – you plan all subsequent steps with a view to the future, but have the option to make adjustments during the course of the funding period. The Foundation recognises that every project has its own dynamics, and it wants to ensure that you remain flexible in order to achieve the greatest possible impact.
To this end, the funding partner intends to hold regular milestone meetings with you to ensure that you are on the right track.
You can apply for the next funding round until 1 July 2026.
