Making sport accessible to everyone
The Rhineland-Palatinate State Sports Federation supports practical ideas from the world of club sport that overcome social, physical or structural barriers, facilitate access to sport – particularly for (socially) disadvantaged groups – and enable genuine participation, regardless of origin, gender, age, disability or social status – with grants of up to 500 euros upon application.
The Rhineland-Palatinate State Sports Federation (LSB) is actively committed to the integration of people from migrant backgrounds and socially disadvantaged groups as part of the German Olympic Sports Confederation’s ‘Integration through Sport’ (IdS) programme.
Whether it’s transport services in rural areas, inclusive sports groups, new ways to get involved in volunteering or intergenerational activities – use your project to show how diversity in sport can be put into practice when barriers are actively removed.
The projects should reach people who face barriers in sport. The deadline for applications is 1 August 2026.
