Youth, Competition

Application deadline: 23 October 2026

Encouraging young ideas

Young people have ideas about how they can help shape their school, their club or their local community. The ‘Get Involved – Make a Difference’ youth engagement competition, organised by the State Chancellery of Rhineland-Palatinate, supports them in putting these ideas into practice. We are looking for projects that demonstrate initiative, take on responsibility and make a positive contribution to social cohesion – regardless of whether they focus on democracy, sustainability, diversity, health or other issues for the future.

Teams comprising teenagers and young adults up to and including the age of 27 who are planning or already implementing their own project are eligible to take part. The selected projects will receive 500 euros to support the implementation of their ideas. The projects must be developed independently and either implemented within a year or have a lasting impact.

Youth groups within clubs, associations or initiatives can also make use of this funding to implement their own projects with ease and give young people more opportunities to have a say.

Applications are open until 23 October 2026.
