Scope of funding
1. Measures
Measures within the meaning of these funding criteria are short-term or time-limited projects of significance to women’s policy, such as events, series of events, conferences, seminars, courses, workshops and other themed initiatives and action days, lectures and readings (minimum number of participants: 10 people), as well as special and large-scale events of state-wide significance and in the state’s interest.
Measures may also take the form of one-off or short-term public relations activities, such as topic-specific information events, poster campaigns and one-off publications.
2. Women’s projects
Women’s projects, as defined by these funding criteria, are supra-regional projects or organisations of an exemplary nature or with innovative or exemplary content and objectives.
Women’s and girls’ organisations wishing to set up a meeting place, a café or similar venue for women and girls may receive a grant for initial equipment (e.g. tables, chairs, shelves, crockery, cutlery and computers).
The following are eligible for funding:
legally registered women’s and girls’ clubs, associations or federations, or groups that have organised themselves as such, which are committed to long-term work, whose services are also open to non-members, and which have their registered office in Rhineland-Palatinate. Particular support is given to women’s and girls’ organisations that hold joint events with other such organisations.
