Was wird gefördert?
The foundation supports projects for children and young people who have to overcome obstacles and limitations in their personal lives – for example, due to social disadvantage, a disability, or a background of migration or displacement. All children and young people should have an equal opportunity to discover their own strengths and talents, so that they can develop and flourish to the best of their ability.
Applications can be submitted at any time. To begin with, a brief outline of the planned project, including a financial plan, must be submitted. A form is available on the website for this purpose.
All tax-exempt organisations are eligible to apply.
The Foundation particularly supports projects in the founder’s locations (Hamburg, Berlin, Duisburg, Cologne, Frankfurt am Main, Stuttgart, Nuremberg and Munich) or projects with a nationwide impact.
The BNP Paribas Foundation provides funding exclusively in the form of a fixed grant: if the agreed fixed amount is not required in full to achieve the agreed objectives, the project partner is obliged to repay the remaining balance.
